Public weighbridge
A weighbridge is a large set of scales used to weigh vehicles and their contents to ensure that they are not overloaded.
We operate a weighbridge for public use:
- Where - Cupid Green Depot, Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7BA
- When - Open Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4pm, and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. Closed weekends and public holidays. The weighbridge can get very busy at certain times, so please call 01442 228020 in advance to check availability.
- Cost - £14 for a single weigh; £18 for a double weigh (same day). Cash payments only.
Our weighbridge has a maximum weight limit of 50 tonnes and a 30kg tolerance level. Please note: we are not authorised to carry out ‘split’ weighs or axle weighings.
